Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Orientrix Pvt. Ltd. ("Orientrix", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our website or services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
AI-Assisted Evaluation (GenEval for Institutions)
GenEval uses artificial intelligence to assist institutions in grading answer sheets. All AI-generated marks, rubrics, and feedback are advisory only and are subject to human review by the institution. The institution remains solely responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and approving final marks awarded to students. Orientrix does not determine, certify, or guarantee any academic outcome, and is not liable for marks published by an institution without adequate human review.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
User Content and Uploads
You retain ownership of content you upload (question papers, answer keys, answer sheets). By uploading content you grant Orientrix a limited license to store, process and analyze the content solely for providing the service to you. Orientrix will not share your uploaded documents with third parties except as required to provide the service or as required by law.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful activities, to infringe others' rights, or to upload malicious content. You may only upload answer sheets and documents that you are entitled to submit — your own, or those you are authorized to process (for institutions, with appropriate authority over student data). You agree not to attempt to circumvent payment, abuse coupon or referral mechanisms, or interfere with the operation of the service. Orientrix reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Orientrix disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Orientrix does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific results will be obtained.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orientrix and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service — including but not limited to loss of marks or academic opportunities — even if Orientrix has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will Orientrix's total aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed in Indian Rupees through Razorpay; we do not store your card or banking details. Payments and credits are non-refundable once the corresponding service (for example, an evaluation) has been initiated or consumed. If a paid service fails to complete due to a technical error on our part, we will offer a re‑run or refund of the affected credits at our discretion. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
